For the twenty-first century, the era of digitization and computerization, the book is the foundation of all the foundations. It has always been a catalyst of human knowledge and a beacon for anyone who wanted to learn. Today, the book is an inalienable stream of contemporary civilization, and is stored in various formats in a variety of places: libraries, schools, institutes, archives and, of course, home libraries. Even though the book is available, the value that it brings is inscribed in the way the reader has come to it. Whether it is skimming of pages in a bookstore for hours, picking on a flea market or at a book fair, the reader has to find a way to his copy of the book. We decided to launch Knjigolov to make this search become the best combination of the traditional approach to the printed book and the possibilities offered by Internet communication. The publisher Ivan Sršen (ivan.srsen@sandorf.hr) founded Sandorf publishing house in 2007, and in 2011 his family business with his mother Jablanka (help desk: jablanka.srsen@sandorf.hr) and his wife Osas opened the online bookstore Knjigolov that is in front of you.
